Valerie Easton, who writes the weekly garden column for the Seattle Times and is the author of numerous gardening books, recently interviewed John Albers and toured Vista Gardens.

Valerie appreciated the thoughtfulness and artistry of the garden and looks forward to writing about the many sustainable landscape practices that have been thoroughly integrated into the development of the garden.
