Early Risers: Welcoming the First Blooms of Spring

Learn how to design a garden filled with resilient early-blooming plants that thrive in any weather.

What is better than waking up on an early spring morning to wander through your garden than to be greeted by tiny flowers blooming and happy despite the weather.

Spring Ephemerals are small flowers, often wildflowers, that appear in early spring and disappear when the canopies of trees fill out. We can learn how to garden with these lovely plants to fill up our beds with color before even the earliest shrubs start to bloom. We will learn how to source, plant and care for these early risers, a big part of a four season garden.

Join Susan as she shares the process, selection, choices and maintenance of the Early Risers Garden.
