Located on a south-facing hillside in Bremerton with sweeping views of the Port Washington Narrows and the Olympic Mountains, Vista Gardens is a four-acre botanical sanctuary designed to inspire resilient, sustainable landscapes. Founded by John Albers and Santica Marcovina, Vista Gardens showcases fifteen distinct garden rooms featuring diverse plant communities, from dryland conifers and native woodlands to Mediterranean-inspired borders.
As a living demonstration of regenerative practices, the gardens highlight climate-adaptive plantings, integrated habitat spaces, and thoughtful water management. Visitors can explore a rich tapestry of seasonal color, rare and native species, and ecologically rich garden designs that harmonize beauty, function, and stewardship.
