Step into late winter’s first signs of spring with an “Early Bloomers” guided tour led by Vista Gardens founder and curator John Albers. We’ll look for flowering currant as it begins to light up the garden, along with the year’s first color from Erica heaths, and the small, precise arrivals of snowdrops and crocuses—plus whatever else happens to be waking up that week.
John will share what these early bloomers reveal about seasonal timing, plant resilience, and the garden’s approach to climate-adaptive planting. Dress for the weather and enjoy a bright, hopeful walk through the season’s opening moments.
Bundle up and experience the quiet anticipation of the season’s first blooms!
